Found the time to finish this commission piece from the Sherlock Commitee art auction for DashCon! It’s for solascientia =)
I kinda went a bit overboard, but I’m fairly happy with how it turned out, twas good practice =)

Fun trivia tidbit. The above, my favorite Sherlock deduction, consists of 225 scripted words delivered by Benedict Cumberbatch in under a minute: 48 seconds, to be precise (1:07:16 - 1:08:04). That includes, BTW, a four second pause halfway through the speech.
If my math is correct, that’s a rate of 281 words per minute. According to Wiki, auctioneers speak at about 250 words per minute. Most of us read the speech at a slower rate than he delivered it.

SHERLOCKOLOGY WIN SHORTY AWARD…AGAIN!
Last week on Monday April 8 2013, Sherlockology again won the Shorty Award for Best Fansite in Social Media during a glittering ceremony hosted by Felicia Day held at the Times Center in New York City, sharing joint first place with fansite @1Dneews.
As is traditional at the Shorty Awards, we were restricted to a pre-prepared speech lasting no more than the 140 character length of a Tweet, and so our only choice was to once again dedicate the award to those that had put us there on that stage - the fans of BBC Sherlock:
We are accepting this award on behalf of all our followers.
Without you guys there wouldn’t be a Sherlockology.
Thanks for believing in us.For the second year running, we remain indebted to everyone who follows us, be it those just reading material on our website, or the thousands who view the content we post on our Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest accounts. Sherlockology remains the greatest success we’ve ever accidentally had, never ceasing to surprise us every day with the interaction and chances it has afforded us to reach out to you, our readers.
You can read the full article over on our website.

A Lonely Impulse of Delight: Sherlock in London: A Message from Sue Vertue
Filming on Sherlock Series Three is about to enter an important stage.
Sue Vertue, producer on the series, has sent us the following statement:
Hi, Sue Vertue here.
As many of you are aware, we’ll soon be embarking on our first London leg of filming for series 3….
Benedict Cumberbatch has revealed that he and co-star Martin Freeman have signed up for a fourth series of the BBC1 detective drama.
“We’ve agreed to two more series but I’m probably going to get into trouble for saying that,” said Cumberbatch at the South Bank Show Awards this afternoon.
